The template that made our coders sweat for such a long time, is finally here. The beautiful son of a gun is called "Paper Blog". This template was initially designed with an oriental pattern background, but after a lot of hard work, the background proved to be the main cause of problems and the main reason why the template wasn't working good. So, the design has been slightly changed, but even so, this template is one of our most favorite templates by now. It's perfect for personal, crafty, arty, creative, designer blogs, and also suitable for magazines and inspirational blogs.
"Paper Blog" is a two-column template with a distinctive, and may I add, a very creative separation of the header, footer, and the main container. It contains three different sections Home, Archive and Inspiration, which, of course, can be easily modified to your own needs. The template is available as plain HTML/CSS, WordPress, Joomla and Blogger theme.

Hey Keith! Somebody does read the text, apparently :)
Thanks for the typo alert and once again, congrats on the Commercial License!
Very nice design! Does the HTML version of the download work for Blogger? I see the Blogger option but it's grayed out. Does that mean it's buy-only?
wow! i love it! is there no blogger template for this?
it looks really awesome!!!
The Joomla version is not full... Many stuff is missing.
@Luciffere: You are completely right - there are a lot of stuff missing... However, there are thousands, if not millions of modules, add-ons, plug-ins... available for Joomla throughout the Internet. If we try to include all of them we would spend all of our time developing stuff for a single template, and what is more important we would lose the basic idea behind the templates.
In our opinion, templates should provide basic functionalities, so those who are into minimalistic stuff and without any advance technical knowledge can easily implement it, and they should be easily extended so those who would like and are capable of extending it can easily do that as well. We think (and most of our visitors as well) that we have accomplished that or definitely trying to accomplish that.
If you have any suggestions of what should be included in our Joomla, or any other templates for that matter, please feel free to leave a comment or contact us with your ideas.
Damn that was long :)
Wow! This is one of the best designed templates I've seen especially for Blogger! Thanks!
@Earl: Thanks! I was thrilled when I saw the style of your blog... It's beautiful!
sooooo nice...
i love it.
thanx
@vssr: wow, thanks! i kinda changed it though and will be using paper blog next year. can't wait for your next template! happy new year!
Can you tell me the name of font used in this template?
The wordpress template has a bug. You can see it here http://www.schmackofatz.biz. Hope anybody can help. Thanks.
PS: is there a support forum?
Tom
@Earl: Happy new year to you too :) Btw. Is it just me or you really make changes to your design that often?
@Leopard: Can you tell us which font are you referring to?
@Tom: The template has been tested at our WP installation and seems to be working fine. Before published, every template has been tested on every platform that it is being available in (WP, Joomla etc.) to make sure that it behaves properly. Please note that extending our templates by third party code snippets, or any other intervention in the code or design is beyond our responsibility, and requires at least basic HTML/CSS programming skills.
Cheers!
I m talking about font used in images ..........
I am having an issue with full, unjustified, text. On the main post page all looks good; however, when click to the actual post it drops the sidebar to the bottom. Got to http://beckyjmiller.com, then click on Puzzle Pieces and China post to see what I am referring too. If you click on the Work of Art piece, there's no issue because the text is justified. I know it's something minor, but can't see to find it.
@jmillerjr: Apparently your HTML code has errors, perhaps you've added an extra closing div tag. Make sure the div id="rcnt" is within the div id="cnt", as it is in your homepage.
Can you tell me the name of font used in this template?
vssr: on the sidebar or the main? I didn't mess with any of the native code. After I installed and activated, the existing post with no justification had this reformatting issue. I will check div id statement.
@jmillerjr: The code of the [recaptcha] comment form messes up your layout. You probably have an extra closing div tag, that is why it shows badly only on your article pages - where you have the comment form.
Cheers!
P.S.: Hope you'll buy us a beer :)
LOVE this template! Can you tell me why the posts are showing the date "2000"? How do I get it to show the proper year? Thanks so much!
@Erin: Apparently your settings for the date formatting are messed up a bit. You have to select appropriate format for the "Date Header Format" field in the "Settings > Formatting" section of your Blogger control panel (the one that says "This is how the date will appear above your posts" underneath). Make sure you select a format that has a year included, for example "Sunday, February 14, 2010".
P.S.: You'll have to buy us some beer too... Wow, we can start a party with all that beer :)
@Leopard and adolfo: regarding the font used, "logo" font is called "Tiza", and the "categories" tittle font is called "Festus".

Lots of clever code behind this... I can understand why it made you (sweat (sweet?.
Looks very modern and in your face, I particulary like the big dates for each post, makes it easy to find.
Notice that you now have a full selection, html, wordpress, joomla....
